A dream home

If only I had attended Hogswart and had the ability to cast a levitation spell, I would make a sun dial for the rest of the estate. When they looked out at my house they would see my kitchen window pointing towards the sun. Sure I get the sunshine in the afternoon until early evening, but imagine if you could have the sun all day long. Maybe I should just build a conservatory, but thats a place to relax. How could I get the sun to shine on me when I have things to do. Just imagine if you could build your house on a giant turntable powered by solar panels. As the sun moved, your house followed it. That would be a dream home.

I’m sooo bored

The only way to not stare at the wall and wonder why everything is so boring, is to get up and be active. Whenever I feel bored, I do something which will get the blood circulating – scrubbing the tiles in the bathroom is always a good one. The bleaching the grout with an old toothbrush requires focus and physical effort, and the satisfaction of seeing it come up brilliant white as you progress, is a real boost. I think Spring Cleaning was invented to drive out the boredom you get from sitting around the whole winter looking out at the world.

The crash of the ocean wave, the roll of thunder in the sky, the waking up on Christmas morning, the gurgle of a new born, the amazement in a toddler’s eye, the frantic wagging of a mongrel’s tail, the hug from your sister, the pat on the back from your boss, the “yes get it in” when your team scores, the opening bars of your favourite song, the glint from the sunlight falling on your junior school trophy, , the torrent of hot water in the shower on a cold morning, the clunk when you hit a ball just right, the smile that says maybe tonight.
