I am a Hindu by birth. Hence, I am familiar with most of the Hindu  Mythology. I also have reasonable knowledge about the great Hindu epics like Ramayanam and Mahabaratham. Ramayanam, which has been produced as a tele-serial by Sagar, is being aired by a local television channel. Even more interesting is the fact that it has been dubbed in Tamil, which makes it easy to understand as I do not follow Hindi, in which the serial was originally produced. The amazing story of Lord Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and the sufferings he undergoes as a human being are depicted with great excellence. I never miss watching this program  which is telecast every Sunday morning for an hour.

My week-days start at 6.00 AM. After a hot cup of tea, I am ready for my morning jog. I jog for almost an hour on the playgrounds of a college near which my home is located. When I get back home, I browse through the morning newspapers. I am crazy about the crossword puzzle that is published everyday in the newspaper.  After my bath, I eat a bowl of corn flakes which my mother keeps ready. By 9.00, I leave to my office, which is about a half hour ride from my home on my scooter. I pick up the essential papers from my office and I am off to meet my clients. I have at least two appointments a day when I meet our company’s distributors. I eat my lunch at a regular mess every day. In the evening , I return to my office to write a report on the day’s meetings after I which I get back home by 6.00 PM. I work on my computer for a few hours before I have dinner with my mother and watch television for some time before retiring.

Christmas Time

Come Christmas and there is a sudden rush about shopping for nearly everybody and anything . This includes dogs, for which a wide variety of accessories are available in the market to purchase and dress them up for the festive mood. Dogs love to adorn such cute little things around too, adding more to the cheer and spirit of the holidays. The most popular accessory doing rounds is the small Christmas dog collars, which can be found in a variety of colors in the market. Red white and green, or the ones with a combination of these three colors are the most popular ones and look very cute with those tiny jingles around them when sported by dogs. Christmas Dog Collars are a must have this season for those with pets.

The Ripon Building, the headquarters of Chenna...

In January, I had traveled to New Delhi officially and stayed there for five days. I attended a training course, on completion of which I was scheduled to fly back to Chennai. The weather in Delhi was extremely cold and even wearing two woolen sweaters was not enough for me. On the day I was scheduled to fly back, I was looking forward to boarding the flight with great relief. But while waiting at he airport, I met a lady who was also from Chennai, who had come to Delhi to visit her grandson. She was booked to fly by another private airliner, which was delayed by five hours due to some technical snag. It was freezing at the airport and we could hardly bear the cold. She was pleading with the officials to accomadate her in the flight that I was booked on but since there were no seats available, her request was turned down. Suddenly, I decided to offer my seat and persuaded the officials to put her on the flight. They obliged and she was able to travel in my place and I took her flight and landed several hours later, sick with the cold weather. But at least I had the satisfaction of helping an elderly person avoid the biting cold. After I returned to Chennai, she called and thanked me and till date continues to remain as a good friend.
