Last weekend, my friends and I went to this old-time country re-enactment. There were men and women dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls and they did an excellent job pretending that they were operating the rustic town around them. I loved the entire set; the town (named “Wagon’s Creek”) reminded me of something straight out of a John Wayne movie. Our day included visiting the local blacksmith and watching him meld metal, stopping to eat lunch at the local pub, and watching the ranchers work with their cattle. The women were really friendly as they washed their laundry and watched the children run throughout the streets. Although there were no gunfights or rugged outlaws, the enactment one of of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.
True Prayers Never Go Unanswered

Last night, I was depressed because I had lost my mobile phone. My friend told me that I should pray with a true heart and I would get my mobile phone back. I laughed at him and went back to home. While sleeping, I just said to myself,” I will get my phone back tomorrow.” Then I went to the bed, early morning after doing my chores, I went to the college and was attending my class. In the middle of the lecture, the peon came to the classroom and asked me to come with him as someone wanted to talk to me urgently. Wondering, I went outside and found a 10 years old kid waiting for me. He asked my name and showed me my phone and said to me, “Is it yours?” (referring to the image of the home kegerator) I replied,” Indeed it is. Where did you find it?” He said,” That is immaterial, if it is yours, then take it and say thanks to me.” I asked his name, thanked him and asked him to take him to lunch, he refused and went away. Rest of the day, I was wondering and pondering over the incidence. May be my friend was true. May be true prayers never go unanswered, may be someone is listening always. Maybe that kid was someone else in the form of a kid. He made my day beautiful and a memory to cherish always.
