Winter season is my favorite season because I like that winter chillness from my early childhood itself it’s a great pleasure to be in chillness than in hot. In my adult age I feel to be with my spouse having hot love in that chill climate. It made my mind moody, sensational, feeling great sense to my mind and body.  The poet always talks about the winter season and compare them to girl. Of course girls are cool climate who blend us with her love and affection .and also I’m very eager to eat hot snacks prepared by my mom and now by my wife. These graces are added only to winter season than any other season. So I always add winter season as my favorite one.

I take leave today in my company for doing some personal jobs. Morning I woke up and took bath, had a great breakfast puri with dhal prepared by my sweet wife and went to employment office which is located in the city. I went by bike it takes twenty minutes to reach that office and I renewed my job form. And then went to collect my cheque in another office. From there I went to bank to deposit that cheque and returned home. Had lunch and small sleep and gone to shopping in the evening with my wife .These things I done today and I enjoyed very well.

The death of a horse

A 3 Year Old Gelding.

I’ve had horses since I was 12 years old, I’ve 52 now. I have never had to have a horse “put down” until two weeks ago. His name was Cisco and was my daughters horse. She had had him for over seven years. He was a nine year old gelding – a beautiful paint that everyone thought looked like the horse in the movie “Hildago.” My daughter went to feed him and found him laying in his stall, his front hoof a bloody mess. She called me first, then the vet and a neighbor who also had horses. We all got there and looked at the hoof. He had wrapped it in wire and cut a deep gash halfway around the top of his hoof and down into the bottom through his heel. It wasn’t really bleeding much and we all concurred that it didn’t look that bad, a little TLC and he’d be fine. Then the vet got there, and after assessing the injury, he told us that Cisco would have to be transported to the vet hospital and they would have to put a cast on his hoof, and he would have to be in a sling for who knows how long. Then after that, there was only a fifty-fifty chance he would ever walk again. As the vet told us all this I could see the dollar signs adding up. The horse was in major pain, trembling as he tried to balance on three legs. So my daughter made the hardest decision she’s ever had to make in her 23 years, and told the vet to euthanize her beloved horse. There was not a dry eye in the whole crowd gathered around that horse. It’s almost as bad as losing a family member. Cisco will be missed.

Moving again

October 8, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

I have been married for thirty-three years. In those years we have moved twenty-five times. In two weeks, we will be moving once again. We are not in the military, that’s not the reason for our nomadic wonderings. Every move was valid. We were trying to find a better place, or to be closer to work, or to have more property, or a newer house. We always had good reasons. Like for instance, this move that will be happening in two weeks – we live in an apartment at the moment, it’s a two story apartment, our neighbors are noisy, running up and down their own stairs. So we looked around and found a house, out in the country that’s one level. Makes sense to me. We will be moving to a smaller town, no McDonald’s or Taco Bells. But it will really do us good to get away from those fast food places. The town where we are moving is very small, with a population of only a few hundred. I plan to buy a bike and pedal my way around. I’m looking forward to moving this time. Hopefully we can stay there for a while.
