My favorite Meal

Pizza! Pizza! Remember when those annoying commercials were on? But I do love pizza. And I’m afraid it shows around my waist too. I think my favorite pizza toppings are pepperoni, mushroom, onion and black olive. And the crust has to be deep dish or at least hand tossed. I really don’t have a favorite pizza place. I’ll buy from Pizza Hut or Dominos or Papa John. It just depends on which one has the best deal going on at the time. I just recently decided to try making my own pizza at home. It turned out great! So from now on, that’s what I will do, unless I’m in a hurry for a pizza, in that case I would still call in for delivery.

Summer is the Time for me

September 15, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

I love summer! Even though I do get hot sometimes and wish it were cooler. But then I think about taking a swim in the pool, and I just get that feeling that I’m glad it’s Summer. I love the long days, you can get so much more done it seems. I remember when I used to walk from my house to the community swimming pool when I was a teenager, and most of the time I would go barefoot. Maybe that’s why my feet are so wide. I can’t even fathom doing that now, walking on hot pavement barefoot! But it’s a fond memory, and I wouldn’t give it up for anything. I was always into horses from the time I was twelve or so. I joined a group of kids around my age that all had horses and we called our group “Roadhogs” because we would ride side by side across the street, and if a car came up behind us they would have to slow down to our pace, because we seldom let them by. I know now that was a mean thing to do and it would make me mad if a group of kids on horses did that to me while I was driving. Summer always brings back those fond memories, so I love summer!

My Whole Day

I start my day around 7 am. My days are pretty much the same from day to day. I’m a typical housewife. I clean the house, do the laundry, vacuum the carpet and make a pot of coffee. When I’m done with all that, I sit down in front of the computer to play a game on Pogo.com or Facebook or check email. I feed my cat and play with him for a while, until he gets bored and slinks off to take a nap. I try to read my Bible every day,  at least a little of it.  I watch TV, the news at five-thirty pm. with Brian Williams.  Mostly the news is bad, sometimes I cry at what they are talking about, my husband thinks I’m crazy for crying. But I’ve cried because of a commercial I’ve seen before, or during Wheel Of Fortune when a lady hit bankrupt. The only time my dull routine gets a little peppier is every other Wednesday when my husband gets paid we go out to eat. I look forward to that, it’s like having a date and it’s a lot of fun.

Garden City

I am based in a city called Bangalore situated in the state of Karnataka in the country of India. Bangalore is situated in the south of India and is always known as the garden city of India because of its lush greenery and the pleasant weather. Bangalore is always a sight of scenic beauty with greenery and flowers all around. The weather is always cool and in earlier days no one needed to use or even thought of buying air conditioners. The AC companies could never do brisk business at least in Bangalore. But I like the city because it is very cosmopolitan and there is no bias for any citizen who comes to live here. There is no language bias and an outsider to this city can also live comfortably and communicate with others in English and yet not feel like an outsider.
